Finally managed to make some time and treat myself to a Derma Roller treatment, many thanks to Boston Medical Group for providing us with a free sample device.

I always prefer to sample a procedure so I can best advise our clients on the treatment and outcomes.

The procedures was virtually painless, the anaesthetic worked very well, the procedure took about 20 minutes and afterwards my skin felt a little tight and warm but settled very quickly. I look forward to seeing the results! I would highly recommend this treatment to everyone – whatever the skin care problem, Derma Roller can help.

“Remote prescribing is the act by a doctor of prescribing a prescription only medication without ever having an initial face-to-face medical consultation with the patient the medication is intended to treat.” It is intended for emergency situations in the patient’s best interest and should not apply to cosmetic medicine. Should beauty therapists do botox?

There’s a lot of discussion lately about who should and who shouldn’t be able to do Botox. Legally, it is a prescription only medicine so should be only performed by a doctor, dentist or nurse but there is so little regulation, lots of other people are having a go.

We would like your opinion if it would make any difference to you if you were being injected by a non-medical person such as a beauty therapist?
