The definition of rejuvenation is “to make young again; to restore to a youthful vigour and appearance” which is exactly what our treatments do! We literally turn back the hands of time for your skin and stimulate your fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastic tissue, rehydrate from the inside and get rid of that crêpe skin and those wrinkles.
What areas can be treated?
Rejuvenation can be done wherever it is needed; however, our bodies tend to age quicker in certain areas as opposed to others. The most tell-tale signs of ageing occur on our upper chest (décolletage), hands and face which is where we tend to perform our treatments.
How does the treatment work?
Multiple injections of fillers are spaced out in the area and leads to an instant volumising and radiance of the skin. Usually we perform three treatments approximately 4-6 weeks apart to give the maximum effect. The skin is hydrated, lifted, texture is improved and wrinkles reduced. The optimum results are achieved after three treatments and by performing a maintenance treatment every 6-8 months, the results are long-lasting.
Is it safe and does it hurt?
We only use products with a proven safety record, the products we use are naturally occurring substances so the risk of any reaction is minute. In certain areas, the treatment is more sensitive, but this can be minimised by using topical anaesthetics applied prior to treatment or by the injection of local anaesthetic.
Are there any side effects?
As with any injectable treatment, there can be some swelling and bruising following treatment, although as the injections are very small and the product is widely spread, this is usually minimal and unnoticeable.
What can I expect after treatment?
Results are seen immediately after treatment, although the long lasting effects are only seen after a course of three treatments. Rejuvenation may include additional treatments with dermaroller or Anti-wrinkle injections to enhance the effects.
