Training
At Cosmedic Skin Clinic, we take our training very seriously. There are already many cowboys in the industry and by providing a professional and informative training, our delegates will automatically be launched a cut above the rest. Our trainers are highly experienced injectors and regarded as experts in the field of aesthetic medicine, having provided training to leading doctors, dentists and nurses throughout the UK and also in the USA, Paris, Amsterdam and Monaco to name a few. They have written for leading cosmetic magazines, appeared on radio and TV and spoken at national and international conferences.
Our training courses are based on best possible evidence and provide:
- A good knowledge in anatomy and physiology
- The science and history of products being used
- Maximising consultation skills
- Client selection and contra-indications
- Best treatment techniques (practical demonstrations and hands-on experience)
- How to deal with potential problems
- Business strategies, marketing and pricing
- Consumables and ordering stock
- Legal and ethical considerations
All delegates will be provided with an in-depth training folder which will include all necessary forms and documentation to start up their own business.
As the learning process is very individual to each delegate, there are never more than 4 delegates to one trainer on our courses so the pace and content can be appropriate to the requirements of the group.
Delegates are expected to provide their own models that have been pre-screened by the medical professional to ensure they are suitable for treatment and have no contra-indications. If you are in doubt as to their eligibility for treatment, please speak to the clinic directly who can give you further advice and a list of contra-indications. If the delegate is unable to provide their own models, these may be arranged by Cosmedic Skin Clinic with suitable notice.
Upon successful completion of a training course at Cosmedic Skin Clinic, delegates will receive a CEART approved certificate of competence which would be accepted by insurance companies to allow you to start practising independently.
